Home again

My amtrak adventures are over for the moment. I was really enjoying long hours of train riding to do whatever I wanted. Read, study Farsi, and mostly watch a west african dance Dvd over and over again. I've had a lot of time to think, and become excited for my Guinea trip. I am really doing it, I've bought my ticket and payed for the school. It's like a dream come true, my teacher thinks that at the end of this trip I will be ready to teach, possibly in India.
While I was in southern California I visited with family, most of whom I've just met or barely know, and of that family there is amazing artistic talent, Jazz musicians, an opera singer, screenplay writer and an aspiring actor. I was so encouraged by them, and left inspired that this desire of mine is valid and worth the effort.
