laughing out loud

One of my favorite things to do, is laugh out loud. Especially if I'm all by myself and reading a book, and especially especially if the book isn't specifically funny, and so I'm not expecting it. When my body responds with laughter before I've have time to register what I've just read. Although laughing out loud isn't as fun when you're standing in a grocery store line without company and you remember something funny then laugh out loud. That has happened to me quite a few times, and I always feel awkward, especially since I'm usually still thinking about what made me laugh so I can't wipe the goofy grin off my face.

Me too. And yet it's so rare. I can still remember the first time that I read Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, around the age of 18, and howling out loud with laughter on a bus, and later re-reading parts out loud to my best friend.

I miss that. It doesn't happen often enough.

HBM I think I'm going to have to read that book then, cause I would love have some howling laughter on a bus

Haha - speaking of laughter, I read my post a second time trying to figure out what was funny. I still don't know - but I'm glad I made you laugh. (My favourite people are the kind who are willing to just roll with it when they're unintentionally funny.) But I'm glad you came back to explain. ;)
